Open Letter To All SuperMom on Mothers day!

Open Letter To All SuperMom on Mothers day!

To the one-in-a-million supermom!

Mother's Day is approaching, and while cards and flowers are lovely, I know they won't be enough to show my gratitude for having such a wonderful mother. So that is why I am writing this open letter to you -  to let the world know how much you are loved and appreciated!

There are so many things I want to thank you for. You’ve taught me so much but words "thank you" never seem to be enough for everything you do for everyone in your life. The late-night and emergency phone calls, visits to the grocery stores, taking care of everyone when they're ill, and the numerous times you had to go back and forth between home, job, and school can't be described in two words. You deserve to be appreciated in the most spectacular way imaginable, with shouts from the rooftops, billboards, and even writing in the sky. Even so, it does not appear to be enough.

Throughout my life, you have been nothing but supportive and loving, brimming with love, faith, and inspiration. You're brimming with love, faith, and motivation. One of the qualities I appreciate the most in you is the sense of adventure you fostered in me. You pushed me to be the greatest person I could be. You showed me how to be bold, have the confidence to pursue my goals, and how to get back up when I fail.

You are the epitome of love - a real-life superhero!

Being my mom is definitely not the easiest job, and I certainly have not made it easy. The number of sacrifices you had to go through in raising me, for all the late nights or mornings that I reach home without notifying you, for the rebellious teen years, and for the times that I talked back without considering your feelings, I’m really really sorry.

You’ve always made sure to put my happiness and well-being before your own, even when we don’t always see things eye-to-eye. For the times when you come across as nosy and overprotective, while I strive for freedom and independence. Despite having what seemed to be never-ending arguments, I understand that you’ve always had my best interests at heart. And for having to carry all the worry and how it must be hard to see your little kid growing up, I’d like to thank you and to tell you I love you.

Now before I bawl my eyes out, thank you so much for being the best mom. Without you, I’d probably already lost my way and wouldn’t be who and where I am today. No matter how much time has passed or how much I’ve grown as a person, I really look forward to showing you and making even more memories with you in the future.

I don’t always say it but I love you, Mom. Happy Mother’s day to our SuperMom.
